Neighborhood overview
The apartment is located in the third district of Vienna (postal code 1030). As our title says, the Hundertwasserhaus is only two minutes walk away. Furthermore, you, dear guests, will find within a radius of only 5 minutes walk any form of supply, such as a supermarket, a drugstore, ATMs and, as almost everywhere in Vienna, several bakeries, restaurants and cafes.
Getting around
To the city center, Vienna's first district with a variety of sights, you can easily walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral in just 20 minutes.

For those who want it even more convenient, the tram line 1 is right outside the front door (Löwengasse station). With line 1 you can reach Schwedenplatz in 10 minutes, one of the central junctions for public transportation, such as the subway line U1 (red license plate) to the main station, or with the green subway line U4 to Landstraße and thus the CAT, Vienna's express train to Vienna International Airport.

Schwedenplatz is also a good starting point (beginning of Rotenturm-Straße) for a walk through Vienna's city center, and Vienna's famous synagogue, the Vienna City Temple in Seitenstettengasse, is a five-minute walk from Schwedenplatz.

If all this is still not enough for you, you can also be helped: right in front of the Hundertwasserhaus various Hop On - Hop Off buses stop for a tourist trip through Vienna.

And even for those who are looking for some distance from the hustle and bustle of Vienna, the area around the Hundertwasserhaus offers one of the green oases of Vienna, the Vienna Prater, which was first mentioned in the history books in 1403 and for a long time was reserved exclusively for the imperial family. The amusement "Prater" is adjacent to it.
